The Snohomish Education Foundation Fosters Learning By Expanding Opportunities To Benefit Snohomish School District Students
The Snohomish Education Foundation was founded in 1986 by Marian Berge and Mal Harding to provide broader educational opportunities for students and teachers of the Snohomish School District.
The action created a means of allowing privately donated money (tax deductible) for scholarships and grants and to support programs that could not be financed with public funds.
The Foundation exists to demonstrate that the people of Snohomish can make a difference and that a gift to education is a gift to ourselves, coming back tenfold in better citizens and better education.
Volunteer Board members have consisted of many prominent members of the community.
